This oak tree was planted on the front lawn of Thomas Worthington High School during the Worthington Bicentennial Homecoming, July 5, 2003. It was a gift from the Worthington Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). This is the second Bicentennial Charter Oak in Worthington. The first was given to the Worthington Schools in honor of the nation's Bicentennial in 1976 (rededicated in 1977).
