NUZUM Lloyd H. Nuzum, age 91, of Worthington, Friday, October 5, 2001 at Riverside Hospital. Born May 4, 1910 in Adel, Iowa to the late Samuel and Bessie (Hedrick) Nuzum. 1932 graduate of Simpson College, where he was on the boxing and wrestling teams, and was a member of the ATO fraternity. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II, serving in both the European and Pacific theatres, and was a member of the American Legion. He was a retired salesman for DANA Corp., and was a member of OGCA, NRA and the NKCG. Survived by his son, James (Joan) Nuzum, Pickerington; grandchildren, Kathy (Jeff) Ebright, Pickerington, James Nuzum, Jr., Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren, Amanda and Brandon Ebright; sisters, Hazel and Louise. Preceded in death by wife Helen in 1989 and brother Sam Nuzum. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. Interment Monday at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Wife's ashes were removed and placed on top of Lloyds vault at the head end of grave.
