MURPHY Ruth Elizabeth Murphy, age 45, Sunday September, 11, 2005 at her home. A graduate of Valparaiso University, Class of 1981, she was a CPA employed by Whalen & Co. An accomplished musician, she was also a Girl Scout Leader, a regular Red Cross blood donor, PTA member and also crocheted blankets for Choices. Ruth was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, where she served on the staff as bookkeeper, the Children's Choir Director and was active as a worship assistant and participated on numerous committees. She is preceded in death by her mother Thelma Dittmer Kamman and is survived by her loving husband, Brian; daughters, Christina and Rachel; father, Pastor Harold Kamman of Moore, OK; and sister, Lois (Ron) Buesser of Boonton Township, NJ; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Her funeral will be Friday at 7 PM at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 35 E. Stanton Ave., with visitation from 6-7 PM, Pastor Karen Asmus-Alsnauer officiating.
