Alice E. Wood, 100, of Friendship Village of Columbus, January 1, 2008. Preceded in death by husband Wilbur B. Wood, son Dr. Phillip K. Wood, grandson Christopher Stratton. Survived by children, Ann Knarr, Dr. Frederick A. (Gail) Wood, Mary Davis; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Wood. Retired special education teacher for the Columbus Public School System. Member Worthington United Methodist Church, OES Agricultural Circle OSU, past president and resident trustee of the Friendship Village of Columbus. Memorial Service 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Friendship Village of Columbus, 5800 Forest Hills Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43231. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friendship Village of Columbus Memorial Fund. Arrangements by Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio.
