Turner Clinton Turner, "CT", age 96, passed away peacefully July 7, 2013 at Isabelle Ridgway Care Center. Born August 31, 1917 in Atlanta, GA, he was a WW II veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was the owner/operator of C. Turner Refuse Co., and was an avid bowler and lover of golf. Preceded in death by son Kenny, sister Claudia, brothers Lamar, Mack Henry, and Rufus. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 62 years, Mattie; children, Elroy Sr., Joann, Charles, and Mary; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Ethel Rucker; and a host of nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral service 12 noon Friday at COOK & SON - PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave., where family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
