SWENSON Robert E. Swenson of Worthington, passed away on September 2, 2003 after a three-week illness. "Bob" had a zest for life. His greatest joy and love was his family, his association with Worthington Presbyterian Church members, his former AccuRay/Industrial Nucleonics business associates, and his friends and neighbors. Bob will be fondly remembered and sincerely missed by his wife of 59 years, Halcyon; his sister, Jean and his brother, Duane with their spouses Howard and Margaret; his children, Craig, Sherri, Barry with their spouses, Lynda, Jane and Jennifer; and his grandchildren, Rob and Eric. Bob distinguished himself over his life as a kind, loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather; as a God-serving Christian; as an honorable and astute businessman; and as a caring, charitable, selfless gentleman who served as a wonderful role model to the many people who knew him. There will be visitation 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 7th at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. A remembrance service to "Celebrate Bob's Life" will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 8th at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High St., Worthington. Dr. Philip Hazelton officiating. Following the service, a reception will be held at church for family and friends. Charitable donations can be made in his name to the Columbus Foundation, Northwestern University or the Worthington Presbyterian Church.
