Peggy Ann Stevens of Powell died on February 4, 2024, in Columbus. She was born on May 14th, 1950 to Raymond and Pauline (Miller) Troesch in Columbus. She was a 1968 graduate of Grandview High School. Following high school, she married Don M. Stevens of Worthington, on October 17th, 1970 in Hilliard. Peggy was one of the charter members of The Church of the Redeemer Moravian Church in Dublin. She found her calling when she accepted a job with Worthington Schools as a bus driver. She was a mom to her own 3 children as well as the many children she interacted with daily.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Don Stevens; daughters, Amy Smith and Stacey Holder; her son, Jon (Kelly) Stevens; grandchildren Zayden and Quinn Holder, and Victoria Stevens; brother, Jerry (Elaine) Troesch; nephew Brian (Bridget) Troesch; and beloved cousin, Judy Moorehouse. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Polly Troesch, as well as her niece Jennifer Carr. Visitation will be held at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home of Worthington on Thursday, February 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A family burial will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 9th at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthingon. The family suggests donations be made to The American Stroke Association or The Kobacker House.
