Geraldine M. Stevens, 91, longtime resident of Worthington and Rush Creek Village passed away peacefully, surrounded by her three daughters, on March 5, 2015. Geraldine was born on November 8, 1923 in Edinburgh, Scotland to the late Duncan and Edith Connor. She was a graduate of the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and was a former member of The Worthington Women’s Club, Worthington Historical Society, and The Daughters of Scotland. Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Julia (Robert) Toland, Elaine (Scott) Hepner and Sally (Xavier) Roueche; grandchildren, Katie, Michael, Remy, Cody, Troy, Eric, and Gabriel; and sister, Norma Kaiser. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, Duncan and Edith Connor; husband, Daniel T. Stevens; and sister, Eileen Inskeep. Family will receive friends on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME 515 N. High Street Worthington, Ohio. A memorial service will be held on March 10, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Dr. Joel Baer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity Doctors without Borders.
