Survived by wife, Mary Lee Spangler; daughter, Mrs. Jim (Diane) Hirakata; 2 grandchildren, Brad and Brian of Lincoln, Nebraska; sister, Mrs. Ina Lee Liggett of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; 2 brothers, William F. Spangler of Canal Winchester, and Craig Spangler of Reynoldsburg. Past master New England Lodge No. 4 F and AM. Veteran WWII. Life member V.F>W. Post No. 2529, Sandusky, Ohio. Funeral service 1 p.m. Tuesday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington. Rev. Randolph Graham officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Masonic service 8 p.m. Monday.
