Wesley A. Smith, age 87, 5800 Forest Hill Blvd., Friendship Village, formerly of Worthington, Tuesday, Riverside hospital. Retired employee of Pennsylvania R.R., after 44 years. Survived by wife, Marie J.; cousins, Eunice Sterba, Emporia, Kansas, Sidney Coleman, Mosco, Idaho. Veteran of WW I. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church, Worthington Historical Society, Columbus Barricks 0461, Veterans of WW I, member and past commander, American Legion Post 239, life member of the Brotherhood of the Railway Transportation Employees. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Friday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 p.m. Thursday.
