Robert E. "Bob" Shoemaker, age 77, of Hebron, formerly of Perry Twp., died Friday December 12, 1997 at Mr. Carmel East Hospital. Preceded in death by first wife, Dorothy M. Shoemaker. Survived by wife, Dee Shoemaker of Hebron; children, Patsy (Dick) Lund, Don (Carol) Shoemaker, John (Sharon) Shoemaker, Dick (Robbie) Shoemaker; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Dean B. Shoemaker of Pickerington; and siste, Jane (Bob) Jenkins of Houston, Tex. Member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St. Worthington, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 1997 with Rev. Andrew M. Hoover officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. If they choose, friends may make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice, in bob's memory.
