SHOEMAKER Dean B. Shoemaker, age 79, of Pickerington, formerly of Gahanna, died Monday, January 21, 2002 at Mt. Carmel Hospital East. Employed as District Sales Manager for Growers Solutions for 42 years and he was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane and parents Ralph M. and Rachel (Brown) Shoemaker. He is survived by his children, Ruth Ann (John) Gehlhausen of Sidney, OH, Deborah (Rusty) Davis of Novi, MI and Jack (Linda) Shoemaker of Pickerington, OH; grandchildren, Pam (Ben), Jenny (Keith), Michael D., Kani (Mike), Tim, Corey (Mark) and Ben; 1 great-grandchild, Max; nieces and nephews. Longtime member of Mifflin Presbyterian Church. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2002 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High Street, Worthington. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
