Waldron D. "Deve" Sheets, age 84, of Worthington, Saturday, October 31, 1987, Riverside Methodist Hospital. Veteran of WW II, retired as Major in Sanitary Corps. Retired Professor Emeritus, College of Engineering, Ohio State University. Preceded in death by sister, Helen Sheets Hickman. Survived by wife, Edith (Yarnell) Sheets; daughters, Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Post Jr., Sturgis Mich., Mrs. John (Cynthia) Conklin, of Glouster; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Susan Sheets, Worthington; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. He was a pioneer in water and waste management in Ohio, Established Water Recourse Center at OSU and Developed the Operator Training Committee of Ohio. Registered Professional Engineer and member of American Society of Chemical Engineers. Member of St. John's Episcopal Church. Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday , November 4, St. John's Episcopal Church, Worthington. The Rev. Peter Beckwith officiating. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
