Cecil (P.E.) K. Rose, 1914-1994

Cecil K. Rose P.E., age 80, Saturday June 11, 1994 of Wesley Glen. Preceded in death by parents Orrin and Ina Rose, wife Lucille G. Rose, and daughter Mrs. Carol L. Roberts. Survived by son, Orrin Rose; daughter-in-law, Stephanie of Akron, Oh.; daughter Kaye R. Lowman of Barrington, Ill.; sister, Mrs. Nadine Ogle of Columbus; grandchildren, Todd Roberts, Deanna R. Hershey, Michael, Phillip, Matthew, Christa Rose, Laurie, Andrew, Amy, and Carrie Lowman; and several nephews and nieces. He was a graduate of North High School and Ohio State University where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, National and Ohio Society of Professional Engineers, Past President National Homebuilders Association, and Executive Committee National Conference of States on Building Code Standards for many years. Cecil was a member of the Trustees of Wesley Glen Retirement Center. HE was charter member of North Broadway United Methodist Church. Cecil was a long time builder, remodeler, and developer in the Franklin Co. area. He was the president of OM & CK Rose Co. and Rose Builders. Cecil served in state government as both member and Chairman of the Board of Building Standards in the department of industrial relations. Family will receive friends WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 N. High St. (3 blocks south of Henderson Rd.0) Monday 2-4 and 7-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday June 14, 1994 at 10:00 a.m. North Broadway United Methodist Church.
