PFAHL Brett Kevin Pfahl, 49, passed away on October 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 11, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William B. and Beryl M. (McDill) Pfahl, Sr. He was an avid sailor. He made a living building sailboats and was a member of Buckeye Lake Yacht Club. Brett was a student at OSU and planned on graduating in March 2012. He was accepted to OSU Law School. He worked with his hands until September 2005 when he became a quadriplegic and dedicated himself to academics. His residence at Creative Living allowed him to reacquire his freedom. He loved his dogs, Maverick, Butler, and Reagan. Survived by daughter, Emily Pfahl and Ellen Pfahl; siblings, William B. (Marsha) Pfahl, Jr., Barbara (Charles) McClenaghan, Bruce Pfahl and Brad Pfahl. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, at Creative Living, 150 W. 10th Ave. at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Pfahl Foundation for the care of his daughters.
