Kenneth D. Peterson, age 68, Worthington, Ohio, Saturday, February 1, at home. Native of Carroll County, Ohio. Retried from Landmark Inc. after 29 years (1980) as Vice President of Grain Marketing. Survived by wife, Jane; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and James Parker, Denver, Colo.; daughters, Gail and Sarah, Columbus; son, Joseph, New Orleans, La.; grandson, Tad Parker, Denver, Colo.; brothers, Leland, Canton and Lowell, Kewaskum, Wis., Charles, of Canton, Ohio, Raymond, Medina, Ohio and their wives; many nieces and nephews. Graduate of OSU in 1939 in Agricultural Education. Teacher of vocational agriculture at Austinsburg, Ohio and Grove City, Ohio following graduation. Veteran WWII. Naval officer with Pacific Fleet. Extension Agent for Franklin County following WWII. Member of Alpha Zeta Fraternity and Gamma Sigma Delta Agricultural Honorary, University Masonic Lodge, Aladdin Shrine, Worthington United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday School for 13 years. Worthington Historical Society, Farm Bureau Council. Life member of Ohio Grain and Feed Assoc. Past director of National Grain and Feed Assoc. and Recipients of it's distinguished service award. Service will be at Worthington United Methodist Church 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 4th, Dr. W. Edge Dixon officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
