Jane E. Peterson (née Elliot)  was born Sunday, April 20, 1919 in West Mansfield, Ohio .

she died Wednesday, October 7, 2015. her recorded age was 96.

her remains can be found at Walnut Grove Cemetery in lot 13  - section 0  - space #3 East (view map) .
Arrangements were made by Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home. The burial took place on Friday, October 9, 2015.

Jane Peterson passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday October 7, 2015 with her family present. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth (Pete) Peterson, parents, Porter and Alice (Grabiel) Elliot of West Mansfield, Ohio, and her siblings Ruth Alice, Joe, Helen, Mary, John and Marjorie and her son-in-law Jim Parker.
Jane is survived by her children Bonnie Parker, Gail Peterson, Joe Peterson (Peg Baudin) and Sarah (Rick) Meizlish; grandchildren Tad (Joanne) Parker, Sam & Nate Meizlish, great-grandchildren William & Katelyn Parker, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jane had a long career as a church organist, most recently at Highlands Presbyterian Church. She also was an accompanist for the Worthington Songsters, longtime member of the Worthington Music Club, Worthington Historical Society, and a volunteer at Riverside Hospital.
We are so thankful for Jane’s group of friends from Highlands Church, especially Marianne & Jim Rennie, Vy and Jim McGaughey, Marene Kellems, and Linda Masonbrink. We’re also grateful to Granny Nannies for their care and support.
A Memorial Service for Jane will be held on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 12:00 PM at the Highlands Presbyterian Church, 6909 Smoky Row Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235 where the family will receive friends from 11:00 am to the time of the service.
