OWENS Clara Dornbirer Owens, age 77, of Worthington, died Monday, April 16, 2007, at Kobacker House. Born February 3, 1930, in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by husband William Frederick Owens and son William Dornbirer Owens. Survived by children, William W. (Betsy) Owens of Powell, Jane (David) Owens Key of Dayton, Jeffrey A. (Tracy) Owens of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Fred, Max and Sam Owens, Kaitlin and Jeffrey Key, Lilli and Ella Owens; sister, Jane D. Hummer of Worthington; brother, Wayne M. Dornbirer, Baltimore, MD; brother-in-law, Dan E. (Carolyn) Owens, Worthington; numerous nieces and nephews. Clara attended Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, VA and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1952. She was a Wardrobe Consultant for Doncaster for over 30 years. Clara was a member and Elder of Worthington Presbyterian Church, member of Worthington Historical Society (Study Group IV), Twig 116 of Children's Hospital, Childhood League Board V, Women's Board of the Columbus Museum of Art, Junior League of Columbus, Conestoga of The Ohio Historical Society, Franklin Park Conservatory Women's Board and Pi Beta Phi Fraternity. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2007, at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street, Worthington. Private Burial: Walnut Grove Cemetery.
