NORRIS Mary Joan Norris, age 81, of Columbus, died Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at the Columbus Alzheimer's Care Center. She was born November 10, 1921 in Paris, Ill., daughter of the late Frank and Marie Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Jack A. Norris and her brothers Frank Hall and William Hall. She is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Nancy Norris of Columbus, John and Ruth Ann Norris of Worthington; 3 grandsons, Eric, Andrew and Adam of Worthington; sister, Juanita Gioffre (Benny); sisters-in-law, Grace Hall and Bette Grace of Columbus; several nieces and nephews. She graduated from Central High School in 1940. She was an avid bowler in the Worthington Women's Club League and served many years as a poll worker on election day. She worked for Mills Restaurant and retired from Addressing Machine and Supply Co. A service of memory will be held on Monday, February 24, 2003 at The Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 35 E. Stanton, Columbus, Oh. at 1 p.m., where family will receive friends from 12noon-1 p.m. A private interment will be held for the family at Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43221 in her memory.
