Russell S. Moore, age 85, 650 Farrington Dr., Worthington. Died Monday in Grant Hospital. Retired manager of Agencies for Midland Mutual Life Insurance Co. and former teacher of the Deaf in Tenn. Survived by wife, Marguerite K.; sons Russell S. Moore, Jr., of Chagrin Falls and Frederick A. Moore at home; daughter, Mrs. Peggy Ray, Perrysburg, Ohio; 5 grandchildren. Veteran of World War I. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church. Past president of the Board of Managers of the Ohio Home for the Aged Deaf. Organizer and past president, Ohio Chapter of Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. One of the Citizen Journal's Ten Top Men of the Year. Service 2 p.m. Saturday, Worthington United Methodist Church. Dr. W. Edge Dixon officiating. Private interment. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
