Charles S. (Chuck) Mooney, age 80, November 1, 1995 in Wisconsin. Preceded in death by wife of 53 years, Genevieve and son, John Simpson Mooney. Survived by daughters, Melinda (Harry) Carter of Columbus and Melissa Mooney and husband, Philip Schultz of Milwaukee, Wisc.; grandchildren, Lara (Joseph) Drakulich, John Rister, Melissa (Patrick) Grubbe, Elizabeth Carter, Genevieve, Alexandria and Katherine Schultz; 2 great-grandchildren, Danielle and Joseph Drakulich; sister, Derry Jane Lauria. Retired Lt. Cmdr. Of PT-105 during WWII. Avid model builder, amateur ham radio operator (call letters K8EWK), and inventor and developer of medical electric equipment. Friends may call at Weir-Arend Funeral Home, 4221 N. High Street (3 blocks south of Henderson Rd.) Columbus, Ohio 43214, on Saturday, November 11, 1995 from 10-11 a.m. Memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Dr. Ronald E. Huff officiating. Private interment at Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the American Cancer Society or charity of choice, in his memory.
