Russell N. McMichael, age 83, Sunday, April 1, 1979, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, of 40 Webster park Ave., Columbus, Ohio. Survived by wife, Gertrude Layton McMichael; sons, Paul L. McMichael, Sr., Indianapolis, Larry R. McMichael and Terry L. McMichael, Columbus, Thomas E. McMichael of Marysville, Washington; daughters, Mrs. Roy (Carol) Dublin, SR., of Dublin, Vicki McMichael, Columbus; foster-daughter, Geneva Joy Martin, deceased; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, also survive. Retired from State of Ohio, The Adult Parole Authority. Member Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Editor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Newspaper. Friends may call at the Weir-Arend Funeral Home, 4221 N. High Street, Tuesday 2-4 p.m. Body will lie in state at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday morning, with service at the church Wednesday 1 p.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
