Co. Ralph V. McKinney, age 80, of Harwitch Road, died Sunday at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Retired US Army engineer and had been an employee of the Ohio Inspection Bureau (now Insurance Services). Survived by wife, Ruth R.; daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joan) L. Scholl, Bay Village, Ohio; son, Dr. Ralph V. McKinney Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; 7 grandchildren; Heather, Holly, Laurel and Rosemary McKinney, Frederick, Christopher and Andrew Scholl; sister, Mrs. Irene Moyer, Columbus. Member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church. Retired officers Assoc., Humboldt Lodge No. 476 F&AM. 50 year member of Scottish Rite and Aladdin Temple. Member of the Blue Goose (Insurance Underwriters Organization). Friends may call at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Rd., Pastor Luther O. Strommen officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family suggests contributions may be made to the Upper Arlington Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in his memory.
