Maxine M. Maxton, 94, of Worthington, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at home. Long-time President of Mahlon Maxton Chevrolet. Preceded in death by her husband Mahlon Maxton, daughters Marcia Higginbotham, and Melinda "Mindy" Fracasso, and son Michael "Mike" Maxton. Survived by her sisters, Naomi Lamberson and Betty (Bob) Miller; brother, Jack "Toby" (Gloria) Oberlin; grandchildren, Holly (George) McCloy, Niki (Bryan) Teague, Angela (Jim) Johnson, David Fracasso, Isiah (Toni) Maxton, Sarah (Jack) Kelley, Joshua Maxton and Grace Maxton; 12 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Maxton; sons-in-law, Bob Higginbotham and Guy Fracasso. Maxine was a long-time member of Northwest United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Worthington Women's Club, the "Merry Munchers", and a proud Buckeye Booster. Family and friends may call from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where a Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 with Rev. Tom Slack officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
