Survived by loving wife, children and grandchildren. Wife Janet W. Mathes; daughters Cindy (Dan) Ewing, of Columbus, Susan (Marty) Dunstan of Fla.; sons, Jeff (Heather) Mathes of Columbus, Craig (Stephanie) Mathes of Columbus; grandchildren Allison, Ryan, Wes, Anna, Sam and Lindy. Mother Freda Mathes of Calif.; brother Michael (Trina) Mathes of Calif.. Friends may call at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home Beechwold-Clintonville 4341 North High St., Columbus, Sunday 2-4. Memorial service will be held at the Beechwold Christian Church, 280 Morse Rd. Monday 10:30 a.m., Andy Mahaney officiating. Family suggests contributions to Hospice at Riverside.
