LONG Marie K. Long, 89, beloved mother and grandmother died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at SEM Haven in Milford, OH. Born in West Homestead, PA on December 30, 1921, she was a nurse all her life and a long-time member of North Community Lutheran Church in Columbus. Predeceased by her husband Luther M. Long in 1999, and by brothers Peter and Frederick Kraus, and sister Elsie Barie. Survived by sister, Sophie Gust of Thousand Oaks, CA; and brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Betty Kraus of Jeannette, PA; children, Karen Long (Arlon Kemple) of Carrboro, NC, Jim Long (Nan Reid) of Accokeek, MD and Tom (Karen) Long of Milford, OH; granddaughters, Ellie Kemple (Andy Cotton), Emily Long, Susie Kemple, and Becca Long. Memorial service at North Community Lutheran Church, 114 Morse Rd., Columbus OH 43214 at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011. Visitation with the family an hour before and an hour after at the church.
