Michael J. Lively, 66, passed into the arms of his Savior on March 17 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 29, 1953. He graduated from high school in Madison, Wisconsin, attended the University of Wisconsin at White Water and graduated from the Ohio State University in 1978. He was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus. Mike was employed by G&J Pepsi Cola for 37 years and retired in 2016. He spent his remaining years enjoying life with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed his time at the Carolina beaches. Mike was a good and faithful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, employee and friend. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Rausch Lively and his children Erin (Joe) Holland, John Lively, and Adam Lively. He also has 2 grandchildren, Daniel Holland and Emily Holland whom he loved with all his heart. Mike was predeceased by his father Hugh Lively and is survived by his mother Grace Lively and his brother David (Mary) Lively as well as many other family members and friends. Because of current state mandates, Mike will be honored in a private service at Zion Lutheran Church with a private burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
