Vivian Annette (Strum) Littlejohn of Georgetown, Texas, formally of Worthington, Ohio, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2008 at the age of 83. She was born in Duluth, Minn. On March 15, 1925. Vivian married Bill Littlejohn on July 8, 1950 at Judson Memorial Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minn. She was a homemaker and a stay-at-home Mom to her two daughters Joni and Patti. Vivian will be remembered for her kindness, loyal friendships and devotion to her family. She was socially active as the past President of the Red Poppy Garden Clue, and several bridge groups and card clubs in Georgetown. She also had many happy years on the golf course at the Georgetown Country Club. Vivian preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth (Krastetter) Strum and Joseph Strum, three cousins, and infant daughter Susan. She is survived by her husband Bill, of 57 years. She is also survived by her children Joanne and her husband Dale Schaefer, of Overland Park, Kansas, and Patti Coates of Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Vivian's five grandchildren; Kari, Bill, (his wife Kristin), and Tim Schaefer, along with Jennifer and Tyler Coates, and one great grandson, Jackson Schaefer, will always remember Grandma Vivi's cookies at Christmas time. A memorial service and celebration of Vivian's life will be at the First United Methodist Church of Georgetown on Thursday, April 3 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Georgetown or the Susan G.
