LEMBRIGHT Elizabeth Gilbert Lembright, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at The Trinity Community of Beavercreek in the 100th year of her exemplary life. She was born on July 17, 1911 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of George and Elta (McLean) Brown who have preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husbands Leslie Gilbert and Walter Lembright, sister Evaline Knief and infant twin great-grandchildren Emerson and Eli Elieff. She is survived by her three children, Alan and his wife, Nimet Gilbert, Carol (Gilbert) and her husband, Alec Zenie and Brian and his wife, Jean Ann Gilbert; a step-son and step-daughter, William Lembright and Mary Ruth Lembright; 11 grand-children; 17 great-grandchildren; and many loving friends. Betty was a graduate of Western College for Women in Oxford, Class of 1932 and received her Master's degree from Ohio State University. A teacher of English and Latin, she enriched the lives of many students in Miamisburg, New Albany and Grandview, Ohio. Betty was a member of the DAR and a long-time member of South Park United Methodist Church. Family and friends are invited to share in a celebration of Betty's life on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Trinity Community, 3218 Indian Ripple Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio with Chaplain Bev Jenkins officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington, Ohio. If desired, contributions may be made in Betty's name to the Trinity Community Life Enrichment Fund, 3218 Indian Ripple Road, Beavercreek, OH, 45440.
