KING Cledith E. "Vinnie" King, age 91, was welcomed into God's Kingdom on Christmas Day. Born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio. Longtime resident of Clintonville. Devoted member of Clinton Heights Lutheran Church and member of Clintonville Woman's Club. Vinnie will be remembered for her crafts, calligraphy, gardening, and for her many years of working at the Ohio State Fair; she was known as "Vroom-Vroom Vinnie" at Malibu Race Track. Preceded in death by her husband Dalton C. King, sister Willma Buller, brothers Maurice and Loren Vinsel. Survived by sons, Steven (Donna), Dennis (Teresa) and Jonathan (Alison); daughters, Sandra (William) Sowers and Leslie (Richard) Prudhomme; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Bryce (Bonnie) Vinsel; many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the caring, dedicated staff at the Worthington Christian Village for all their support. Memorial service 4:30 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, 15 Clinton Heights Ave., where family will receive friends prior to service from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Pastor Ralph Wolfe, officiating.
