JONES Gladys Louise Jones, age 89, of Worthington, died Friday, January 31, 2003 at the Laurels of Worthington. She was born December 12, 1913 in Youngstown, OH. Preceded in death by her husband Alvey E. Jones, parents Stanley C. and Lillie Stellwagen Probert, stepmother Cumie Probert, and brother Carl Probert. Beloved mother of Gary E. (Marilyn) Jones of Hammond, IN, James A. (Madonna) Jones of Lewisburg, PA, and Kay (John) Labosky of Worthington. Loving grandmother of Jennifer (Kevin) Corley of Savoy, IL, Elizabeth Jones of Los Angeles, Merrit Jones of Chicago, Jeffrey Jones of Bloomington, IN, and Alex and Julia Labosky. Dear sister of Norman (Gladys) and Howard Probert of Youngstown and Edward Probert of Venice, FL, and Evelyn (Roy) Fisher of Bakersfield, CA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Prior to her illness, she was an active member of the Griswold Center in Worthington, and leaves treasured friends, Mary DeMain and Edna Murphy, the two remaining members of the Griswold Center "Fab Four". Gladys was lovingly cared for during the past three and a half years by the staff of the Laurels of Worthington. Gladys was a member of All Saints Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6770 North High Street, Worthington, where her funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2003 with Rev. Bonnie Gerber officiating. Burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington will follow. Her family will receive friends at the church prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Those who wish may contribute in Gladys' memory to the All Saints Evangelical Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund.
