JENSEN Sharon Kaye Jensen, age 59, believer in Jesus Christ, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2010. A celebration occurred at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home in Worthington, OH on Sunday, December 19. Born and raised in Irvine, KY, Sharon lived her married life with surviving husband, Grant R. Jensen, Jr. mostly in Columbus, OH. Surviving son, Dr. Corey T. Jensen, will always cherish the unending dedication and deepest love she always had for her "one and only." Her love and memories continue with sisters, Jane Francis Reed and Pamela Raye Mullins; as well as through the many lives she so uniquely touched through the years. She was preceded in death by parents Sue Lettie (Howard) Mullins and Charles Ray Mullins. Sharon was a member of Genoa Baptist Church in Westerville, OH. She loved the Lord and loved to be of service to people in need; she was a defender of loved-ones and a "champion of the down-and-out." She loved to laugh, make everyone happy and she genuinely loved people; she naturally gained the attention of anyone nearby with humorous ways of recalling events and "telling it like it is." She will be missed beyond words, but will meet us again on the day our Savior calls each of us home.
