Survived by wife, Anne Grace (Scott) Jackson; so and daughter-in-law, William E. and Patricia Jackson; daughters and sons-in-law, Sue Anne and Ronald Sloan, Jane and David Bruss; 6 grandsons. Member and Elder of Worthington Presbyterian Church. Delegate for the International Institute of Welding and Commissions dealing with welding instruction, electrical welding processes and the physics of the welding arc. Life member and past president of the American Welding Society. Life member American Society for Metals. He was a Fellow of the British Institute of Metallurgists. Member of the French Institute of Welding Engineers. Honorary member Australian Institute of Welding. Honorary Fellow of the British Institute of Welding. Senior member of the American Institute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers. Memorial service 2 p.m. Wednesday, Worthington Presbyterian Church. Dr. Lorrin Kreider and Rev. Jane Mykrantz officiating. Friends will be received after the service Private burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Clarence E.
