Jean M. Howland, age 58, 2865 Dresden Avenue, Wednesday at home. Employed 18 years Ohio State Civil Service and the last 2 years with the Franklin County Welfare Dept. Survived by husband, David Cameron Howland; sons and daughters-in-law, D. Craig and Sally Howland, Columbus, Sgt. David McDonald and Joann Ann Howland, USAF, England; 4 grandchildren; 3 cousins. Member of Beechwold Church of Christ, Central Ohio Kennel Club, Delaware, Ohio Kennel Club, Ohio Persian Cat Club. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday Rutherford Chapel, 2383 North High Street where family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Entombment Walnut Grove Mausoleum.
