HOPPER Edward "Ed" P. Hopper, age 83 of Westerville, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 27, 2011. He was a Plant Manager for Ranco Controls, retiring after 44 years of service, and he was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward H. and Bernice W. (Hartley) Hopper, sister Martha Horch, and his aunt Katherine Hartley. His survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Donna; children, Chris (Steve) Creager, Cherie Ellwood and Cindy (Tim) Young; grandchildren, Ryan (Michelle) Creager, Danielle Creager, Seth (Kim) Ellwood, Jessie Ellwood, Cara, Meghan and Tim (Kate) Young; great-grandchildren, Nathan Creager, Mae and Rayna Ellwood, Camden, Gracie and Lucas Young; sister, Jean Caris; and many nieces and nephews. Ed was a 61 year member of York Lodge #563 F & AM. He was also an avid OSU fan and fisherman. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME. 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 with Pastor Dean Holben, officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, with a York Masonic Lodge Service at 7:45 p.m. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
