John W. Henderson, age 78, of 267 Crandall Dr., Worthington, Saturday at home. Retired letter carrier, US Post Office and more recently retired from the International Research Development Corp. Survived by wife, Hazel B. Henderson; son, Dr. Jack A. Henderson, Grand Haven, Mi.; daughter, Mrs. Jay (Phyllis) Truitt, Worthington; 6 grandchildren; sister Mrs. Florence Wilson, Columbus. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church and National Association of Letter Carriers. Service 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Edge Dixon officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Contributions may be made to the Heart Association.
