Marguerite Haddow (Pettigrew) Hedge, age 71, of Worthington, died Saturday, November 14, 1992, at St. Ann's Hospital. A registered nurse and graduate of Grant Hospital School of Nursing. Secretary for Children's Hospital Twig No. 131. Member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church, Church Woodrow Guild, Mary Martha Circle, Tintinnabulations Bell Choir, first vice president of Homedale Elementary PTA, and a volunteer at the Worthington Senior Center. Survived by her husband, John F. (Frank), Sr., of Worthington; sons and daughter-in-law, John F. (Jack) Jr. and Judy, Steve and Diane, all of Worthington; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Roger Wooten, of Columbus; grandchildren, John, Robert, Andrew, Blake and Cory Hedge, all of Worthington; sister and brother-in-law, Jessie and Edward H. Bohl, of Wooster; brothers, John Pettigrew, of Lewisville and William (Vivian) Pettigrew, of Canton; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Mae Ryan. Funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 1992, a the Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street, Worthington, with Rev. James Neumann officiating. Interment will follow at the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Family requests in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made in her memory to Twig No. 131, c/o Children's Hospital, 700 Children's Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43205 or to the charity of choice.
