Esther I. Harris, 79, of Worthington, Friday, April 4, 1997 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Harris; and daughter, Susan Harris. Survived by her daughter, Nacy Harris of Worthington; son Steve (Peggy) Harris of Xenia, Oh.; granddaughters Jennifer (Eric) Lawless, Rebecca, Jessica, and Margaret; brother, Floyd E. (Doris) Cotton, Jr. of Indianapolis, In.; cousins, Marion Kingery and Huber Irrgang, both of Calif. Member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church, Worthington Women's Club, Worthington Historical Society, and P.E.O. The family will welcome friends at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel 515 High St. Worthington, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. A private family interment service will be held at the Walnut Grove Cemetery Thursday morning. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 1997 at the Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High St. Worthington, with Rev. Robin Abel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Worthington Presbyterian Church or Hospice at Riverside. (NOTE Donald Harris' ashes were removed and re-intered on top of Esthers valut in same location on grave space.)
