Dorothy Lewis Hammond, life long resident of Worthington. Died Friday, Grant Hospital. Survived by husband, John Edgar Hammond; sons and daughters-in-laws, John E. and Sophie Hammond of Coshocton; David and Jane Hammond of Worthington; grandchildren, David, Ann and Greg; sister and brother-in-law, Wellington and Ora Thompson, Columbus; nephews, Robert Paine, Stuart, Florida; James Cleary of University Heights, Ohio; Robert Cleary of Ashland, Kentucky. Long time member of Sigma Sigma Mu Wives and Mothers Club. Service 9 a.m. Monday St. John's Episcopal Church, Worthington. The Rev. Starke Dillard officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington.
