Lilyan Mattox Guenther, age 81, of Columbus, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, died Friday, February 17, 1989, at Whetstone Convalescent Center, Columbus. Survived by daughter, Joanne Frazier, of Columbus; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyne and Gene Satchell, of Dayton, Ohio; sons and daughters-in-law, John T. and Mary Mattox, of Phoenix, Ariz., Byron W. and June Mattox, of Cleveland; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Roy Goss, Cleveland; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husbands, Byron Mattox and Henry Guenther. Graveside service 1 p.m. Monday at Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon Monday at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd.
