Survived by wife, Elizabeth B. (Betty); sons, Alan L. Gilbert, U.S. I.A., Mali, Africa, Brian L. Gilbert, Columbus; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Alec Zenie, Montreal, Canada; granddaughters, Molly and Caitlin Gilbert, Natacha Zenie; brother, William Harlan Gilbert, Silver Spring, Maryland; several nieces and nephews. Member of Worthington United Presbyterian Church, New England Lodge 4 F&AM, Printers Union. Attended OSU and University of Cincinnati. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington. Dr. Paul Johnston and Rev. Charles Robinson officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Those who wish may contribute to the Worthington United Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
