Paul R. Fritter, age 70, of Worthington, died suddenly at home Tuesday, July 22, 1997. Retired agter 38 years as master technician at Battelle Memorial Institute. Veteran of U.S. Navy, WW II. Survived by wife of nearly 52 years, Betty; daughter, Paula Gayness, of Columbus; and granddaughter, Lisa Jane Gayness; and many friends. Member of Hilltop Evan. Lutheran Church, Heart Sounds of Riverside Hospital and former board member of Capital Area Humane Society. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 25, 1997 at Rutherford-Corbin Chapel 515 High St., Worthington, Where family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heart Sounds of Riverside, 3535 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, Oh 43214, in Pauls Memory.
