Robert William Fox, age 73, of Worthington, Saturday, June 6, 1998 in Greensboro, N.C. He was born March 9, 1925 in Monroe, Mich. Rollowing high school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving 3 years during World War II. He graduated from Michigan State University. Retired from the Columbus Metropolitan Park District after 36 years. His hobbies included ham radio as a member of Army Mars and model aeronautics. He was an active member of the Westerville Model Airplane Club. Member of th3e Academy of Model Aeronautics. Assoc., the Mid-Ohio Radio Kontrol Society and the Delaware Model Airplane Club. Member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, International Miniature Aircraft Association and was a charter member of the Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum. Member of Worthington United Methodist Church. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Janice; children, David (Sharon) of Worthington, Steven (Theresa) of Greensboro N.C., Rick of Davis, Calif., Laura (Chas) Kaiser of Ostrander and Jim (Wendy) of Hilliard; 10 grandchildren; brother, Roger of Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Friday, June 12 , 1998 at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home 515 High St., Worthington, where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Mary Holm, officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be bade in Robert's memory to the Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum, 44 Stone Church Road, Rhinbeck, N.Y. 12572.
