Pauline Foucht, age 90, Wednesday, January 15, 1997 at her home. She was born July 30, 1906 in Jacksontown, Oh. Mrs. Foucht taught elementary school at Licking County, Zanesville, Batavia and Columbus for 34 years, retired from Sharon Elementary School in 1976. She graduated cum laude from Ohio University, after raising four children. Member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church. President of ADK-Alpha Theta Chapter, Clintonville Woman's Club. A.A.U.W., Thornville O.E.S. Chapter #156, Franklin County Retired Teachers, B&P Unit Womens's Association of Columbus Symphony, former member, Clinton League. Preceded in death by parents Owen and Clara Tavenner & husband Byron. Survived by children Joan Foucht, Marilyn (Charles) Holcomb, Byron Robert (Mary) Foucht & Nelson (Peggy) Foucht; grandchildre, Kathryn Downs, James (Shonna) Moore, Allen (Mindy) Foucht; great-grandchildren, Danny Downs, Jacob Vance, Jusin Foucht, Sage Vance. Friends may call at the Southwick-Good Funeral Chapel 3100 N. Hight St., Friday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. (O.E.S. service 7:30 p.m.), where funeral will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. Rev. William R. Leety officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions if desired may be made to Hospice of Columbus.
