Chester Arnold Dildine, age 72, of Athens, Oh., Rt. 6, Thursday morning at his home. Former resident of Columbus. Born in Franklin County. Son of the late Elisha Norman and Mary Jane Bateman Dildine. Former employee of the Columbus Coated Fabrics Co. Retired carpenter, Freeman Construction Co. of Wooster. Member of the Humboldt Lodge 476 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Cleveland, Alkoran Temple of the Shrine at Cleveland. Survived by wife, Edith C. Dildine; son, Charles N. Dildine, Worthington; daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Donna) Douglas, Columbus; step-brother, H.V. Brown, Venice, Fla.; 5 step-children; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Addition to his parents, preceded in death by his first wife, Flossie Dildine and infant son.
