Ruth Koska Dickey, age 94 of Worthington, passed away peacefully at Worthington Christian Village on Saturday October 20, 2018. Ruth was born in Zanesville, Ohio on July 24, 1924 to the late Joseph and Margaret (Horn) Koska. She was a graduate of Lash High School in Zanesville, Class of ‘42. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Richard Dickey, and three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son Dale Dickey of Delaware and her daughter Denise Dickey of Powell and two sisters, one niece and three nephews. Ruth was a founding member of the Worthington Christian Church where she was a greeter on Sunday mornings and an active participant in many church activities. She was also a volunteer at Worthington Christian Village for over 16 years. She was known for her sense of humor and loved to entertain, bake, cook, and play euchre. Friends may call Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, October 26, 2018 with an opportunity to meet with the family from 9:00am to 10:00am. Gail Walls, M of Div, officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington.
