Rev. Howard C. Dhonau, Jr., 1931-1996

The Reverend Howard C. Dhonau, age 65, of Worthington, April 1, 1996 at St. Ann's Hospital. Ordained May 12, 1958 in the Milwaukee Presbytery. Served as Pastor at the Tabernacle Presbyterian Church and the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Racine, Wis. And the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Forest, Ill. Pastor of St. Andrew Presbyterian, Columbus, for 23 years before serving interim pastorates at Parkview Presbyterian Church, Reynoldsburg and his current pastorate at Groveport Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the Presbytery of the Scioto Valley. Survived by his wife, Gerrie; son, Keith R. Dhonau and Daughter, Leah (Bruce) Denning; grandsons, David, Daniel and Joshua, all of Atlanta, Ga.; step-daughters, Marci (Donny) Skeen, Jennifer and Kelly Schultz, all of Worthington; sister, Marjie Mueller, Hollywood, Fla. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 1996 at the Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High St., Worthington with Dr. Philip Hazelton and Rev. Judith Hoffhine officiating. Friends may call in the Woodrow Room of the Worthington Presbyterian Church on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to Kobacker House at Riverside, 3635 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, OH 43214 or to the Groveport Presbyterian Church, 275 College St., Groveport, Oh 43215.
