John P. Dermaine, age 67, of 5661 Linworth Rd., Worthington, died Friday, Morrow County Hospital. Retired wood worker at National Electric Coil. Survived by wife, Helen Marie; sons, Donald E. Carpenter of Worthington and Kenneth L. Carpenter of Columbus; daughters, Mrs. Chloe Anna Sulser of Galion, Mrs. Carolyn Hylton of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Lister Demaine of Huntsville, Ontario, Victor Demaine of Orillia, Ontario, Ralph Demaine of Huntsville, Ontario, Stanley Demaine of Calendar, Ontario, sisters, Miss Marjorie Demaine of Huntsville, Ontario, Mrs. Wilma Hornibrook of Sundridge, Ontario, Mrs. Meleta Miller of Toronto, Ontario; many nieces and nephews. Veteran of WWII. Member of the Royal Canadian Legion of Port, Loring, Ontario. Service 1:30 p.m. Monday, Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Ben Edwards officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
