Fredrick E. Clay, age 53, of 184 Melbourne Pl., Worthington, Saturday, at home. General Manager of Engineering Foods Division, Borden Co. Survived by wife, Elizabeth Byrnes Clay; 3 sons, Roderick Clay, of Columbus, Michael, of Muncie, Ind., Paul, of Blanco, Tex; 2 grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Effie Clay; sister, Mrs. Virginia Tackett; both of Lima, Ohio. Graduate of OSU and received MS degree from Michigan State University. Veteran WWII, US Navy. Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington. Rev. Robert Lovell officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
