Opal Annabelle Winter Clary, age 84, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, October 24 at Wesley Glen Retirement Center. She was born September 1, 1911. Preceded in death by husband Clifford (Bus) Clary; parents Richard & Opal Winter; brother William Winter; sister Mary Winter & grandson Brian Clary. Survived by daughter Annette Ashbrooke, Columbus, Oh.; sons Dr. Richard (Peggy) Clary, Columbus Oh., Dennis (Nanci) Clary , Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren Eric & Robert Hollobaugh, Rand (Cindy) Hollobaugh, Phillip, Matthew, Kelly & Megan Clary, all of Columbus, OH. Kimberly )Zakary) Wehagan, Baltimore, Md. & Loren Becker, Chicago; sister-in-law Edna Winter, Delaware, Oh.; several great-grandchildren. Member of North Broadway United Methodist Church, various church circles, past president PEO, and Phi Upsilon Omicron Home Economics Sorority which has named a scholarship in her honor. Graduate of OSU and former public school teacher. Friends may call at WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 N. High St., (3 blocks south of Henderson Rd.), Columbus, Ohio 43214 on Friday, October 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Rev. Terrance W. Heck and Rev. Harriette G. Zoller officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
